Royal Icing That Won't Break Your Teeth image

This royal icing is made to have a slight crunch on the outside with a soft bite on the inside, It's puffy and tastes delicious. It dries so that you can stack the cookies without hurting the design, Super easy, super fast, and super tasty.

Number Of Ingredients 5

3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon almond extract (or your choice)
2 tablespoons clear corn syrup
5 tablespoons meringue powder
2 lbs powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Place the water, extract, corn syrup, and meringue powder in a mixing bowl and using a hand whisk, whisk it for about 30 seconds until it is puffy.
  • Pour all the powdered sugar into the mixing bowl and beat on the lowest speed for 4 minutes.
