Roasted Pears and Red Onions image

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 medium pears, quartered
1 large red onion
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
to taste coarse salt and pepper
2 sprigs rosemary

Steps:

  • preheat oven 425 degrees. in 9-by-13 inch baking dish, toss pears and onion with butter and vinegar. arrange in single layer and top with rosemary. cover with foil. bake 20 min until soft. uncover and continue baking until golden brown, about 15 min. more. serve warm or at room temp.
