Roasted Oysters image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 - bushel coon oysters (singles)
- fried cornbread
- dill pickles
- vinegar and catsup, mixed
- roaring brush fire
10 ounce(s) bottled pepsi

Steps:

  • Stack oak brush in a pile. Place washed oysters (in shell) on a wire grate on top of brush. Start fire. The grate needs to be made so oysters can be easily removed at desired doneness. Serve with Pepsi, cornbread, pickles, and sauce.
  • Some little neck clams are delicious scattered through the oysters are delicious!
