Rector's Horseradish Mayonnaise image

This recipe comes from a 1928 cookbook from Rector's Restaurant on Broadway. In business more than 100 years ago. If you have access to fresh horseradish this is the sauce to try. Very simple.

1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon horseradish, freshly grated

Steps:

  • mix all ingredients well and serve.
