Even though i grew up eating these I never can seem to make them! I can make gourmet dinners and desserts but i can't make pralines or bread!! But i got this recipe from the justin wilson website and it's as authentic as you can get. Good luck!!

Steps:
- Mix sugar, corn syrup, condensed milk, and water thoroughly. Cook over a low fire until the soft-boil stage, it'll say on your candy thermometer. Remove from heat.
- Add butter, vanilla, and pecans. Beat until the mixture holds its shape. Spoon onto buttered wax paper, and allow to cool. Enjoy!
