RAVIOLI ITALIANO image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 bag (20 oz) Louisa frozen cheese ravioli
6 slices smoked bacon or prosciutto, cut into 1/2 in pieces
1 small onion, chopped (1/2 c)
1 lb Roma tomatoes, diced (can probably use canned)
1 T minced garlic
1 pkg fresh basil, torn
1/2 c creamy Italian dressing (annie gunn's smokehouse market)

Steps:

  • 1. Heat water in large saucepan and cook ravioli as label directs. * RESERVE 1/2 cup pasta water. Drain water; return ravioli to same pot. 2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Transfer to small bowl. Add onion to bacon drippings and cook 4-5 min. Stir in tomatoes and garlic; heat. 3. Add bacon, onion mixture, basil and dressing to ravioli in saucepan. Toss to coat.
