I just love the tartness of raspberry with this butter rich crust!

Steps:
- Have your butter at room temp so it is softened...then combine butter and both sugars in the mixer and mix till creamy, then add vanilla extract and mix until blended...slowly add flour in 1/2 cup at at a time (unless you want to wear it..lol)...mix till it becomes a ball...do NOT over mix.
- Take 3/4 of the mixture and press it in a greased 9x13 pan...take the other 1/4 and refrigerate it... Bake the mixture for 16-20 minutes or until edges are a light golden brown....remove from oven and spread the raspberry jam all over...then crumble the 1/4 mixture on top of the jam...place back in the oven and continue to bake for 20-23 minutes or until top is golden brown...
- Cool completely before serving....YUMMO!
