Quickest Brownies Ever image

Yield 24 squares

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (4-ounce) square bitter chocolate
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, unbeaten
1 cup flour
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Melt chocolate and butter in large saucepan. Turn off the heat. Add remaining ingredients in order. (Mixes well with a wooden spoon.) Pour into greased 9x13x2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool and frost with chocolate icing or sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
