Quick & Easy Eggnog image

My mom and I made up this recipe at Thanksgiving; have made it several times, and the family loves it!

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 lg. box french vanilla or vanilla instant pudding mix
6-8 c mixture of milk, half n half, and cream (your choice)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice, ground
1/4 - 1/2 c powdered sugar (your choice)

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and 2 c. milk until smooth.
  • 2. Add powdered sugar and spices, then add the rest of milk/cream, while whisking. Adjust sugar, spices and type of milk according to own preferences.
  • 3. Pour into a pitcher, cover, and chill in refrigerator for about 30 min. until slightly thickened. Stir well again, and serve with some extra nutmeg on top of each glassful.
