QUICK ASPARAGUS AMANDINE image

1 serving asparagus
1 tablespoon almonds (slivered)
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Steam asparagus until tender. 2. Rinse the asparagus under cold water to stop the cooking process. 3. Melt the butter in a pan. 4. Add the almonds and cook until golden brown. 5. Remove from heat. 6. Add the lemon juice and salt. 7. Pour over the asparagus.
