This tasty sweet and sour sesame chicken is not only delicious, but gluten free, soy free, and low carb. Seasoned with coconut aminos and sesame seeds, this crispy chicken goes well with cauli rice to keep it keto friendly.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound boneless chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ cup coconut aminos soy-free seasoning sauce
¼ cup low-calorie natural sweetener (such as Swerve®)
1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces; season with salt and pepper. Cook until crispy and golden, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine coconut aminos and sweetener in a bowl; whisk well until fully dissolved. Pour over chicken; simmer over low heat until sauce has thickened, about 7 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
