Pumpkin Pudding image

This recipe was given to me by a childhood friend. Since her husband is in the military, they and other families gather around base on Thanksgiving and she makes this when they are sharing the holidays of other soliders.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 c pumpkin puree
3/4 c light brown sugar, packed
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c heavy cream
3/4 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Blend all ingredients.
  • 2. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • 3. Bake at 350 for 55 to 65 minutes.
  • 4. Cool and garnish with dollops of whipped cream or whipped topping.
