PORTABELLA CREAM SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 16

1 large onion-sliced
1 large portabella mushroom- cut in four lengthwise and slice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons Montreal Steak Seasoning
2 teaspoons Sriracha
2 teaspoons minced garlic or 3 cloves minced
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons Worchestershire
3 tablespoons A-1
1/2 cup red wine.Cabernet or Merlot
2 tablespoons beef base
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup strong coffee
little flour for thickening

Steps:

  • large frying pan add olive oil, butter, onions, portabella, sauté, cover and sweat until soft. Add all other ingredients except cream. Simmer and taste....adjust salt to taste, add cream and simmer briefly. This is awesome over any meat.....steaks, pork......but, it is also killer if you use it for a pork stroganoff.
