I found this recipe among my grandmother's recipes. It looks like it had been cut from an old magazine - very old, from the yellowing of the paper! It states it is for use as a coleslaw dressing, although I imagine it could be used as a sweet dressing on lettuce. I have not tried it myself, as I am not really a coleslaw (or sweet...

1/4 c sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp celery seed
1 dash(es) cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp onion powder

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a screw-top jar; shake. Use for coleslaw.
