Plum Pie image

Great with a scoop of vanilla Ice cream.

Number Of Ingredients 13

4 cup(s) pitted and sliced fresh plums
1/2 cup(s) sugar
1/4 cup(s) all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice concentrate
1 - 9 inch pie crust
TOPPING
1/2 cup(s) sugar
1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
3 tablespoon(s) cold butter

Steps:

  • In a bowl mix the first 6 ingredients , Pour into pie shell
  • for Topping, In a small bowl combine sugar, flour cinnamon and nutmeg cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs,
  • sprinkle mixture over filling. bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown, cover edges of crust during the last 20 minutes to prevent over browning, cool on a wire rack.
