Pineapple Cake image

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cup All purpose flour
2 cup white sugar
2 piece eggs
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
20 ounces crushed pineapple
8 ounce cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and sugar. Make well in the center and add the eggs, vanilla and crushed pineapple. Mix to blend.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or to see if the cake is ready insert a toothpick into the cake and see if it comes out clean.
  • For the frosting: in a bowl, mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat it until creamy. Spread it on the warm cake.
