PEPPERONI STUFFED MUSHROOMS image

Number Of Ingredients 8

24 large mushrooms
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 T. chopped red pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 t. dried basil, crushed
1 T. butter
1/3 c. finely chopped pepperoni
2 T. fine dry breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Wash and drain mushrooms. Remove stems and trim ends. Set caps aside. Chop enough mushroom stems to make 2 cups. Cook stems, onion, pepper, garlic & basil in butter until tender. Stuff mushrooms. Bake 8-10 minutes at 425 °F.
