Peppermint Schnapps image

Ever feel like creating a drink instead of buying it. This recipe for peppermint schnapps is the easiest drink around to make. Amaze your friends at any get together or make for the people on your Christmas list who drink

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/3 c white sugar
2 c corn syrup, light
2 c vodka
2 tsp peppermint extract

Steps:

  • 1. In a 2 quart pan over medium heat, combine sugar and corn syrup. Heat until sugar dissolves,stirring regularly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool slightly and stir in vodka. Cover and allow to cool. Stir in peppermint extract. Pour into a sealable bottle.
  • 2. Enclose a tag saying Peppermint Schnapps Serve over ice or add to coffee with cream and sugar, top with whipped cream for a wonderful after dinner drink
