PECAN PIE II image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pie crust
1 1/2 cup pecan pieces
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup Steen's cane syrup
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt or more
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 TB flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Place shell in bottom of 9 inch pie pan. Spread pecan pieces evenly on bottom. Combine eggs, sugar, brown sugar, cane syrup, corn syrup, vanilla, salt, butter and flour. Pour mixture over the pecans. Bake for about an hour or until the filling is set and pastry nicely browned. You may have to put a piece of foil over pie halfway through to prevent crust from getting too brown. Cool before serving.
