Peachy Noodle Kugel image

Kugel is another name for a pudding. Many kugels are made with cheese, this one is not, but it is always requested. It can be served as a side with meat or poultry or eaten as dessert.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 large can of peach halves, in light syrup
1 pt coffee rich
2 1/2-3 c sugar
1 pkg medium egg noodles, 16 oz.
8 large eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2. Boil egg noodles 7 minutes, and drain 3/4 of the way.
  • 3. Drain peach juice into noodles.
  • 4. Add coffee rich, sugar, salt & vanilla. Beat in eggs. Spray a large deep baking pan with pam.
  • 5. Noodles should be swimming in liquid. Place on peaches on top. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
  • 6. Bake at 375 for 1 hour or longer till solid.
