Peach Crisp - Mom's Recipe image

Mom canned bushels of peaches every year. When we had fresh peaches she always made this dessert.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
6 peeled, sliced peaches
1/2 c melted butter
cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Butter an 8 inch square pan. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Place sliced peaches in pan. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over peaches. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
