Pea and pecorino puree image

Easy made this green puree reminds of summer.

800 g frozen peas
3 garlic cloves
2 1/2 cups grated pecorino
4 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Put the peas into a bowl.
  • Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  • Grate the pecorino.
  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet.
  • Add garlic, stir for a minute.
  • Add partly defrozen peas.
  • Stir for about 5 minutes over high heat.
  • Season.
  • Mash the peas.
  • Add 2 tbsp olive oil and the grated pecorino.
  • Stir.
