Patio Salad image

This recipe was on the package of Hillshire sausage I used to buy.I can no longer find the same sausage so I use any good smoked sausage. It's a filling salad and very good. I,of course add a clove or two of crushed garlic to the dressing.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 c lemon juice
1 t. sugar
1 t. dry mustard
1 t. worcesteshire sauce
1/4 t salt
1/4 t pepper
2 c thinly sliced mushrooms
1 c sliced olives
2 tablespoons parsley,minced
2 tablespoons green onions,minced
1/2 lb smoked sausage,coarsely chopped
1 head iceberg lettuce,shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Combine oil,juice,sugar,mustard,worcestershire sauce,salt and pepper. Add to remaining ingredients except lettuce. Chill several hours. Serve over lettuce.
