PASSOVER CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIES image

Yield 36 brownies

1.5 sticks margarine soft
.25 cups potato starch
2.25 cups sugar
.25 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
.5 cup water
.75 cup cake meal
.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
.75 cup cocoa
Add semi sweet chocolate chips. Amount depends on personal taste

Steps:

  • Heat Oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9x2 baking pan. Beat margarine in large bowl at medium speed until creamy. Gradually beat in sugar. add eggs, one at a time. Beating well after each addition. STir together cake meal, cocoa, potato starch, and salt. Add alternately with water and vanilla, beating until smooth.(Add chocolate chips and stir) Spread in prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. cool completely then cut into squares.
