Pan fried pork chops image

A simple and delicious way to prepare pork chops. Makes a great meal with some mashed potatoes and vegetable.

Number Of Ingredients 8

6-8 - thin cut pork chops, bone in
1 cup(s) flour
1 teaspoon(s) black pepper
1 teaspoon(s) seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1/4 cup(s) oil
1 tablespoon(s) butter

Steps:

  • Rinse chops and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Combine all your dry ingredients and mix together. Set aside.
  • In a fry pan, heat oil on a medium-high heat. Then add in your butter.
  • Once butter is melted, dredge your chops in the flour mixture (tapping off any excess). Place into your hot pan, and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the pork. Once juices are no longer pink & are clear, they are ready. You should be able to cook 3 chops at a time in your pan.
  • Serve and enjoy!
