How to make OPEN PIT COPY-CAT BARBECUE SAUCE

Number Of Ingredients 9

Combine 1 to 2 tbsp. of butter with
1 tbsp. sugar,
1 tsp. salt,
1/2 c. vinegar,
Juice of 4 lemons (You can use lemon concentrate),
Stir to dissolve and then add
1 bottle beer,
1/2 c. tomato paste or ketchup,
Hot Sauce or Tabasco to taste

Steps:

  • Cook over low heat for about1/2 hour to reduce the sauce
  • Add Liquid Smoke, garlic, onions, brown sugar, honey,
  • cumin, paprika, coriander seed, celery seed, whiskey, etc. ,
  • to customize your sauce.
