Open-Faced Bacon, Tomato And Cheese Sandwiches image

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 slices bread
3 tomatoes small, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons mayonnaise for each sandwich
salt
6 slices American cheese
12 slices bacon chopped and partially cooked (not crisp)

Steps:

  • Toast bread on both sides. Place tomato slices on bread spread with 2 teaspoons mayonnaise. Salt lightly. Top with a slice of American cheese and partially cooked chopped bacon. Broil slowly until bacon is crisp and cheese is melted. Serve at once.
