Onion, Cheese and Almond Focaccia image

Enjoy this Italian flatbread recipe baked using Italian pizza crust, onions, cheese and almonds - ready in just 25 minutes!

1 package (14 oz) prebaked original Italian pizza crust (12 inch)
1/3 cup honey mustard
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups shredded smoked Cheddar or Gouda cheese (8 oz)
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Place pizza crust on ungreased cookie sheet. Spread with mustard.
  • In 10-inch skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Cook onions in butter, stirring occasionally, until tender.
  • Spoon onions evenly onto pizza crust. Sprinkle with cheese and almonds. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into wedges.
