Steps:
- Cream together butter and sugar; add vanilla. Gradually blend in flour and oats using wooden spoon, then your hands. Chill for about 20 minutes. On lightly floured surface rollout to 1/4" thick. Cut into small rounds or rectangles. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and prick with a fork. Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
