NORWEGIAN SUGAR COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup shortening
1 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
1 cup shredded coconut
1 tap vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Steps:

  • Cream together first 5 ingredients. Sift together remaining ingredients. Add dry ingredients to wet. Roll into balls, roll in sugar and flatten slightly with a fork. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 350
