This has been a very long quest for me. The knock-offs are close but I could not get over the fact they were all too acidic. Northwoods sells the red cabbage salad marinade and when I got it, the ingedients were in 3 equal parts of white vinegar, a very light oil (water?), and a white powder which tasked like Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning and salad dressing mix. So I followed that and, well, you be the judge.

- Pour mix over cabbage.
