Never-Fail Pie Crust image

4 1/2 - 5 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups shortening
1 beaten egg
5 Tbsp milk
1 Tbsp vinegar (scant)

Steps:

  • Sift flour and salt together. Add shortening.
  • Mix together egg, milk, and vinegar; add to the flour mixture.
  • Mix well and roll out. Makes 4 (large) pie crusts.
