Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 toasted slice bread

Steps:

  • Mix egg and milk, add dry ingredients and the cubed bread. Make 1 oblong dumpling, about 8 inches. Let Rise one hour under a covered pan. Put in boiling water and boil 10 minutes in a covered pan. Turn over and boil another 10 minutes or little less. remove from water and cut with a string or a knife into slices for serving.
