My Raisin Pound cake image

This is such an awesome pound cake. dotted with raisins it is pretty when sliced and has a wonderful flavor and texture,

1 c soft butter
1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese, softened
5 medium eggs
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
4 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/4 c all purpose flour
2 c raisins

Steps:

  • 1. preheat oven to 325, spray a bundt pan with non stick cooking spray
  • 2. cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until well blended.
  • 3. add remaining ingredients except raisins and mix well, ( about 2 minutes)
  • 4. Mix in raisins. pour mixture into prepared pan and bake 50-60 minutes. cool completely before removing from pan. Dust with Powdered sugar
