My Easy Slow Cooker Chili image

This easy Chili recipe is a family favorite we usually have this with homemade corn bread and cheddar cheese or over rice or even with just saltine crackers ,My friend always tells me its better than the Wendys restaurant chili I don't know but it sure is good especially on a cool or rainy day

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion finely chopped
1 c finely chopped green bell pepper
2 can(s) busch's hot chili beans
1 pkg chili-o chili seasoning
1 can(s) diced tomatoes
1/3 c jalapeno peppers chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 large can(s) tomato juice

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain off grease
  • 2. In a large 7 quart slow cooker put ground beef, onion, bell pepper, chili beans, chili seasoning, diced tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, garlic powder, salt, pepper and tomato juice
  • 3. mix all ingredients together cook on high 4 to 6 hours or on low 8 hours
  • 4. Serve as disired with shredded cheddar cheese, cornbread, or over rice or noodles or even with just saltine crackers
