MY EASY HOMEMADE BISCUIT image

So easy to fix...They can be for breakfast or any meal. My family likes to have biscuits when we have chicken fried steak .

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 1/3 c martha white self rising flour( hot rise )
1 1/4 c bulgarian buttermilk
1/2 c vegetable oil ( this will go in biscuits )
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
OIL IRON SKILLET WITH 1/3 CUP OF OIL

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425. Put 1/3 cup of oil in iron skillet. Heat skillet with oil on top of stove before putting biscuits in oil.
  • 2. Mix flour , salt and sugar. Make a well in center of flour mixture,add buttermilk and oil. Stir and mix well. Spoon out a heaping tablespoon onto flour in a plate .Pat and roll into a ball .Put in hot oil and flip over to oil other side . Cook for about 20 minutes or until done.
