When we lived in northern Wisconsin, we had easy access to wild rice. I still have some and thought I'd try this combo of ingredients. We like wild rice with chicken dishes.

Steps:
- Rinse and drain wild rice. Bring to boil in the chicken broth and simmer, covered, until liquid is absorbed. About 1/2 hour.
- When rice is almost done, heat olive oil in skillet, sauté onion until starting to turn translucent. Add garlic and mushrooms. Continue to sauté until mushrooms have released liquid.
- Add red pepper strips, wild rice, seasonings. Stir together until hot. Stir in parsley. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each serving.
