MRS. MOODY'S MOLASSES SUGAR COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 10

3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup brer rabbit molasses
1 egg
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • Melt shortening. Cool, and add sugar and egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Chill. Roll dough, and cut rounds. Bake at 350-degrees for 8-10 minutes.
