I was given this recipe by my Mother-in-law who served it every Thanksgiving. It was love at first bite!

Steps:
- 1. Stir together ingredients for pineapple filling in saucepan. Bring to a boil & cook, stirring constantly, until thick & clear. Cool
- 2. Beat cream cheese, sugar & salt until smooth & creamy. Add eggs, milk & vanilla & mix well.
- 3. Spread cooled pineapple mixture in bottom of pie shell. Pour cream cheese mixture on top of pineapple.
- 4. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Lower temperature to 325 & bake for another 50 minutes.
- 5. Serve chilled.
