MOM'S APPLESAUCE CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 Cup Shortening
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
2 beaten Eggs
1 Cup Applesauce
2 Cups Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cloves
1 Cup Raisins

Steps:

  • Cream shortening, sugar, eggs. Stir in applesauce. Add sifted dry ingredients, beat well. Add raisins. Bake in loaf pan at 350F for 1hr or until knife comes out clean.
