Miracle Fruit Bowl image

This fruit bowl practically makes itself, and it's low-fat! It's a great way to get your kids to eat fruit, or spoon it into pretty sherbet dishes for a light summer dessert.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 can(s) (16-oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained, reserve juice
1 can(s) (15.5-oz.) pears, drained, reserve juice
1 package(s) (3.4-oz.) instant vanilla pudding
1 can(s) (15.5-oz.) peaches, drained
1 package(s) (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed
- fresh blueberries (optional)
1 - apple (optional)
2 or 3 - bananas (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix reserved juice from the pineapple and pears with pudding mix until all lumps are dissolved.
  • Drain and discard the juice from the peaches. Cut peaches and pears into bite size pieces. Cut up the apple and bananas if using.
  • Stir all fruit into the pudding mixture and chill!
  • **NOTE: Chopped pecans or walnuts are a great addition to this dish.
