Mini Salisbury Steaks image

What can I say ?? I love Salisbury Steaks. I remember my Mom making them for our family.

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 pound(s) lean ground beef
- salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
2 tablespoon(s) water
GRAVY, PREPARE AND SET ASIDE
1 - onion, chopped
1 cup(s) sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) dried thyme
3 tablespoon(s) flour
3 cup(s) beef broth
- ground pepper

Steps:

  • Make 8 Patties. Heat skillet on high. Brown Patties only. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • To the skillet add: onions and mushrooms. Cook 10 minutes. Add Thyme, pepper and flour. Mix well. Cook 5 minutes
  • Add broth, slowly while stirring. Bring to a boil, cook 5 minutes. Return patties to the skillet along with any juices. Lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
