Mild Pineapple Salsa image

A very simple salsa that pairs well with grilled salmon.

1 cup chopped fresh pineapple
⅓ cup chopped red bell pepper
¼ cup chopped shallots
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon dried basil
1 pinch red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Place pineapple, red bell pepper, shallots, lemon juice, basil, and red pepper flakes in a glass bowl; stir well.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to mingle.
