Microwave Cake Batter Fudge image

Super easy and so delicious! Note: the recipe as is fits a 6 x 6 container- who has those?! I used the recipe and then used a half the recipe on top of it (so if the recipe calls for 1 cup, I used 1.5 cups, etc.) and put it in an 8 x 8 pan and it turned out beautifully. The best part about this recipe- NO BAKING required. :)

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 c yellow cake mix
1 c powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter or margarine, cut into squares (1/4 cup)
1/4 c milk
sprinkles

Steps:

  • 1. Mix cake mix and icing sugar in microwave-safe bowl. Add butter and milk. Don't stir.
  • 2. Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir immediately until completely combined. Add sprinkles. Do not overmix as sprinkle color may bleed. (Note: If the batter comes out too runny, stir in about 1 tsp of sugar or cake mix at a time until stiff. If too thick to stir in all components, slowly add 1/2 tsp of milk at a time, but batter should be thick!)
  • 3. Spread into a lightly greased 6 x 6 pan. Refrigerate for at least one hour, then cut into squares.
