MEXICAN TATORS image

1 tsp. red pepper
2 lbs. ground beef drained
Tator Tots
1 small can green chilies
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can black beans
2 garlic cloves
garlic powder
1-2 tbs. olive oil
salt
pepper
sharp cheddar cheese/grated

Steps:

  • Mince garlic cloves and put with beef. Cook ground beef and drain. Empty contents of green chilies, black beans, and tomato sauce. Sprinkle a little garlic powder and olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir and cook on medium; stirring occasionally just to cook out some of the liquid. Put one layer of tator tots in a 13X9 caserol dish. Place meat mixture on tator tots then sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 23min. on 425.
