Mexican Fiesta Dip (easy) image

I love this dip because of the fresh flavors in it. No beans in a Mexican dip. I got this recipe from a friend a few years back. She had it at one of her parties. Now my family and friends enjoy it. Number Of Ingredients 5

2 pkg cream cheese softened
1 large jar of salsa ( mild or as hot as you want)
1 pkg mexican shredded cheese
1-2 containers of grape tomatoes
1 bunch of scallions (green onion)

Steps:

  • 1. Drain Salsa slightly. Mix the 2 packages of cream cheese and beat together with Salsa. Use a mixer.Blend until cheese is not lumpy.
  • 2. spread evenly in a square 8x8 pan,or glass bowl.
  • 3. Refrigerate for a couple hours,or keep in fridge a day or 2 before serving. It will keep just fine. Before serving. Chop up the grape tomatoes,and green scallions. mix scallions with tomatoes.
  • 4. Take a large bag of shredded Mexican cheese and sprinkle evenly or Cream cheese salsa mixture. Top with tomato mixture.
  • 5. That's it. It is ready to serve with your Tortilla chips
