Number Of Ingredients 12

1 stick butter, softened
1 c sugar
16 oz hershey syrup
1 c flour
Pinch salt
4 eggs
1/2 c chopped nuts
FROSTING
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c sugar
1/3 c milk
1/2 - 3/4 c chocolate chips - i used milk chocolate

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish. Spray with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients, except nuts and beat until creamy and no lumps. Stir in nuts.
  • 2. Spread into prepared dish.
  • 3. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until pick comes out clean. While brownies bake make frosting.
  • 4. In a medium saucepan, mix together the sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil and continue boiling for 1 minute. Remove from heat and beat in chocolate chips. Continue stirring as it cools, will thicken more as you stir it.
