1TSP BAKING POWDER
1/2TSP SALT
2 EGGS BEATEN
1/2C BUTTER
3/4C SUGAR
1/3C MILK
11/2C BLUEBERRIES
1TSP VANILLA
2TBSP SUGAR

Steps:

  • SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT. BEAT EGGS, SET ASIDE. CREAM BUTTER, GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR AND CREAM WELL. ADD BEATEN EGGS AND BLEND UNTIL FLUFFY. ADD 1/3 OF THE FLOUR MIXTURE STIRRING WELL. ADD 1/2 THE MILK WITH THE VANILLA AND STIR.ADD FLOUR, MILK ETC. UNTIL ALL ARE ADDED. GENTLY FOLD IN BLUEBERRIES WHICH HAVE BEEN DUSTED WITH A VERY LITTLE FLOUR.POUR IN GREASED OBLONG BAKING DISH, TUBE PAN, LOAF PAN OR MUFFIN PAN. BAKE AT 375 FOR 30-35 MINS. LONGER FOR LOAF PAN AND SHORTER FOR MUFFINS. BEFORE PLACING IN OVEN SPRINKLE THE TOPS WITH 2T SUGAR.
