MEDITERRANEAN WET RUB (FOR PORK, LAMB, OR CHICKEN) image

1 cup apricot jam
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Aleppo pepper
2 heaping Tbsp ground sumac (available at many Middle Eastern grocery stores)
1 Tbsp ground cumin
2-3 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup sesame oil
2 Tbsp soy sauce

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients in bowl. Apply as rub to meat. Roast or grill meat to taste.
