Mediterranean Slow-Cooker Mashed Potatoes image

I love to use my slow cooker when family comes over. On Sundays when I make my special turkey meat loaf, this is a no-fuss side dish that tastes amazing! -Kristen Heigl, Staten Island, New York

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 pounds red potatoes, cubed
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons snipped fresh dill
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup crumbled feta cheese

Steps:

  • Place potatoes in a 6-qt. stockpot; add water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, until tender, 10-15 minutes. Drain and coarsely mash. Combine next 6 ingredients in a greased 5-qt. slow cooker; stir in mashed potatoes and feta until well combined. Cook, covered, on low until heated through, 2-3 hours.
